Kourabiedes (Greek Cookies)

Ingredients

2 1/4 Cups sifted flour

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp ground cloves

1/3 tsp salt

2 cups finely chopped nuts

1 cup butter

2 cups 10X sugar

2 egg yolks

10X sugar for dusting

Sift flour, cinnamon, cloves, and salt into bowl. Stir in nuts. Beat butter, sugar, and egg yolks in a large bowl with electric mixer on high speed until light and fluffy. Stir in flour misture until blended. Pinch off dough about 2 tsps at a time and roll lightly 2 inches in length. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet 1 inch apart; curve into cresents. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 mins. Cool. Roll in 10X sugar.
