Egg Nog

Ingredients:

4 eggs

4 additional egg yolks

1/3 cup of brandy or cognac

1/2 cup water

fresh ground nutmeg

Directions:

In a bowl, beat eggs and yolks until light and frothy. Gradually add sugar, continuing to beat well. Warm the brandy and water in a small saucepan, but do not allow to boil. Pour a thin stream of hot liquid into beaten egg mixture, continuing to beat well. Add fresh ground nutmeg to taste. Serve in hot heatproof glasses or mugs.�
