Ingredients:
1 (10 ounce) pkg. frozen cut broccoli
2 cup chopped onions
4 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
Dash of pepper
1 cup milk
1 (3 oz.) pkg cream cheese, cut up
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Cook broccoli according to pkg directions; drain. Cook onions in boiling salted water until tender, about 10 mins, drain. In saucepan, melt 2 Tbsp of butter; blend in flour, salt, pepper. Add milk all at once; cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Reduce heat; blend in cream cheese until smooth. Stir in vegetable; turn into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake 350 degrees oven for 20 mins. Melt remaining butter; toss bread crumbs and parmesan cheese. Sprinkle crumbs over casserole; bake 15-20 mins more.
